HAVING been beaten by the odd try in their last three out of four league outings, Wests finally got the victory their form deserves.
The forwards laid the platform for victory, with Jay McCabe leading by example. Youngster Paul Rigby again gave a good account of himself and Andy Wilburn, Sean McNamara and Dave Rogers where prominent up front with Darren Atherton, Chris Wilson and Greg Stubbs running the back line.
Points for the Wests came from Sean McNamara 2, Kyle Peters, Paul Rigby, Chris Wilson and Greg Stubbs with the latter slotting over six out of six goals. Wests man of the match was Jay McCabe followed by Andy Wilburn and Kyle Peters.
