COURT-ING couple Julie Brown and Andrew Carter will be spending a super honeymoon in Jamaica next year - thanks to a friend's cheeky ditty.
The Lancashire lovebirds, who both work at Chorley Magistrates Court, won the fabulous holiday in a local radio show competition.
And they have colleague Leanne Westwell to thank. For it was she who faxed across an entry when Preston-based Rock FM asked listeners the question: "Why won't your friend get dumped at the altar?"
Leanne came up with the winning entry which is a little too naughty for a family newspaper to print.
Julie, aged 24, of Bispham, Blackpool, said she was "stunned" by the win.
She told the Citizen: "We hadn't booked anywhere for the honeymoon. We had decided to leave it nearer the time. This has been absolutely perfect - it's like a dream. Listening to it on the radio we just went mad."
Andrew, aged 28, of Charnock Richard, said: "I didn't actually believe it at first. Somebody came down and told me and I told them to get away."
Julie and Andrew, who got engaged in August, 1997, are both clerical workers with the court.
They are to be married in Bispham on May 6 next year.
