THREE East Lancashire firms will be doing battle for a top money-saving award.
Conservatory Coloured Glass, of Blackburn, William Blythe of Accrington, and Flexible Reinforcements, Clitheroe, are all finalists in the Norweb Business Energy Awards.
The awards are open to firms who have improved productivity and saved money by introducing new electric-powered production systems.
"We estimate that the combined cost-savings of the finalists is more than £2million," said David Lamb, of Norweb.
The winners of the industrial category will be announced on Thursday.
