SETTLING in as the new manager of Asda's Spring Street store in Bury is Mrs Louise Swift (pictured).
The mother-of-two has been with the company for the past 11 years.
In fact, her first post was to prepare the same supermarket in Spring Street for its changeover from Gateway to Asda.
After this, Louise served as grocery manager at Blackburn and Farnworth and then was appointed deputy store manager at Blackburn.
Later, she was counters manager at Clayton Green. Louise subsequently served nine months on division before taking up her latest post in Bury.
"I'm settling in very well and my colleagues are very friendly," she said.
"I suppose you can call this store the North West's biggest corner shop.
"We are looking forward to an extremely busy Christmas and Millennium and I'd welcome any feedback from our customers."
