A CHARITY line dance will be held at St Anne's Catholic Club, Monastery Lane, Sutton on Friday, October 29 to raise money for Alder Hey Hospital.
The event has been organised by sisters Edith Wharton and Elizabeth Gordon from Sutton, whose son Philip is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment for leukaemia at the hospital. Tickets are available from Elizabeth on 821395 and cost £2.50 each.
It will be followed by a balloon race on Friday, October 30 from Safeway car park, Chalon Way. This has been organised by Edith and Marie and Bernadette Murray and it will cost £1 for a balloon and name card.
Balloons will be sold throughout the morning and will be released at noon.
