THE grandmother of an eight-year-old boy who died of leukaemia is organising a raffle to raise cash for the hospice which cared for him.
Joyce Taylor, of Hancock Street, Blackburn, is organising the raffle in memory of Daniel Taylor.
He died in his father's arms in Derian House Children's Hospice, Chorley, six months ago.
She said: "He was a lovely little boy who had a smile for everybody.
"We have already raised £300 through the raffle.
"And we have got a month to go before the draw."
Daniel's schools, St Luke's and St Philip's School and Roman Road County School, are selling £1 tickets for the raffle, with star prizes of two tickets for Blackburn Rovers including meals, his and hers watches and a car service.
Tickets can also be bought at the Galligreaves pub, Agnes Street, Blackburn, where the draw will be held at a charity night on November 14.
