BURNLEY's Asda boss is visiting his store's twin Walmart shop in Denton, Texas, and is taking with him a stash of goodies from the town and local area.
Burnley Football Club boss Stan Ternent was invited to present Andy Davies, general store manager, with a Clarets shirt and an aerial photograph of Turf Moor.
Pam Ferguson, general store manager's secretary, said: "We are preparing lots of things for him to take to the twin store, including books of old Burnley, postcards of modern Burnley and Padiham and a book on the Pendle Witches.
"We are also asking colleagues and their families to be penpals to staff and their children from the American store."
Andy will spend a week at the Denton store finding out how the store works and their general store manager will visit Burnley in the new year.
But the store already has some memorabilia from America because customers have brought in carrier bags and a Walmart waistcoat - souvenirs from their holidays!
