POLICE uncovered a massive car theft ring based in East Lancashire thanks to a high-tech tracking device.
More than £80,000 worth of dismantled vehicles were discovered in a Blackburn lock-up garage after officers managed to trace a high-powered car, stolen in Merseyside a month previously.
