FURTHER to my request in the Evening Telegraph concerning the whereabouts of the young lady I had known while we were at school together, I would like to thank those who responded to my search.
Among the many letters and telephone calls I received was one from, I think, a lady who sent a most intriguing letter, without an address and signed only with an initial. This set me thinking - what a mystery!
Regrettably, all told me that Ruth Pearson, of Wilpshire, died many years ago. It is gratifying that so many were prepared to pass on information.
