HUNDREDS of Brownies from across East Lancashire travelled to Darwen to take part in an annual fun day.
The event on Saturday at Darwen Vale High School attracted packs from Rossendale, Burnley, Pendle, Blackburn, Ribble Valley and Darwen, with fun based around a jungle theme.
East Lancashire Guiding development co-ordinator Andrea Cottam said everyone had a wonderful time.
"We had face painting with Brownies made to look like lions, games and prizes, cooking and craft workshops where the children made everything from fondant lions to glittering tropical butterfly brooches and rain sticks from crisp tubes and rice.
"It was great."
