KEEPER Jussi Jaaskelainen is in line for his first start of the season when Bolton entertain Crewe tonight as the Reebok club start a new era tonight.
Sam Allardyce was appointed new Bolton boss today but Phil Brown, his newly-appointed assistant, was left in charge of team affairs for tonight's game. Brown, the caretaker boss following Colin Todd's resignation three weeks ago, has inspired a Bolton run of four wins in five games.
But he will be without first choice keeper Keith Branagan, who picked up a leg injury after his collision with Huddersfield hitman Clyde Wijnhard on Saturday. Brown has ex-Rover Paul Warhurst available again after suspension, but the versatile player is still struggling with a hamstring.
Otherwise he is likely to stick with the squad that served him well against Huddersfield on Saturday.
Squad: Jaaskelainen, Cox, Bergsson, Johansen, Jensen, Holdsworth, Gardner, Gudjohnsen, Elliott, Phillips, Fish, Jaaskelainen, Todd, Taylor, Hansen, Aljofree, Banks, Whitlow, Warhurst.
