FOUR goals for Warren Peake showed holders Kings Inn will not give up their crown easily when they handed out a hiding to the Foresters in the first round of Blue and White Rosebowl.
The Woodsmen's challenge was also cut down by a Darrel Winard hat trick, a brace for Mark King and a strike from Paul Guinan.
Last year's semi-finalists Beehive fell at this season's first hurdle. Goals from Danny Kirkby, Craig Shorrock and Steve Whittaker giving New Gardeners a 3-0 victory.

Hat tricks from Matt Anderton and Adam Whittle plus goals from Carl Scott and Chris Walsh doing the damage, Ricky Neale scoring Park's consolation. Darwen Alex allowed Dexter Paints to gloss over a poor first half by scoring three times in the second half. Steve Dunne (2) and Mick Barton hitting the target, but goals from Dave Atkinson, Nigel Yates, Horsefield, Paul Curley and Jimmy Rasul putting the Alex into the next round. Two goals from Claud Thomas for Longshaw was enough to end the challenge of White Bull. Sing and Poster completed a good victory over James Street. Heyes Inn's debut in the competition brought them success. Goals from Danny Allwood and Martin Aspinall being too much for GFR Plumbing for to whom Steven Errey replied.
