STAFF from Oswaldtwistle Mills have returned from a 10-day trip promoting East Lancashire to leisure and travel bosses from around the country.
Representatives of the shopping and tourism complex in Collier Street attended the Group Leisure and Travel Show at Wembley Exhibition Centre, and the Coach And Bus 99 show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
A company spokesman said: "Many new contacts were made and a lot of interest was shown in Oswaldtwistle Mills, which attracts 500,000 visitors each year."
A booking was secured from the Group Travel Organisers Association, who will take a day out from their conference in Bradford in January 2000 to visit the mill complex.
