I FEEL that the council's "ban" on such events as the recent Ladies Night, organised by the Bury Times, is totally unjustified.
I went to the Ladies Night and I haven't enjoyed myself so much for a long time. I found the show was tastefully done, and not at all offensive. Also, it was a very good way of raising money for the Marie Curie Fund.
I can't wait for the next Ladies Night, and neither can my friends. So keep on with the shows, they are brilliant. It is just a pity that we have a few sad councillors who, I feel, should get a life - and leave others to enjoy theirs!
