WEST Ham United could make a firm offer for Clark Carlisle as soon as Paul Beesley is fit again.
The Premiership club has made no secret of the fact that they are interested in Carlisle and could offer around £800,000 for the young defender.
Queens Park Rangers have also shown interest in the Seaside sensation and it is thought the clubs have been holding back from making offers because of the current injury crisis.
Northern Ireland international Jim Whitley has returned to Manchester City after two months on loan at Bloomfield Road.
