IN reply to J Taylor's letter describing Poulton as a boring place to shop (Citizen, September 30).
What absolute nonsense. We have the most interesting shops on the Fylde Coast.
We sell mostly everything anybody could possibly need and it is a fallacy that superstores are cheaper than small independent shops.
Poulton is well known throughout Lancashire and Yorkshire as a little paradise by holidaymakers, caravanners etc.
They come back year after year.
Bring in the superstores and that paradise will be ruined.
Let's keep Poulton a village with individuality.
D. Decor,
Poulton.
