A POST mortem on the decomposed body of a 48-year-old Prestwich man failed to establish a cause of death.
The body of Mr James Goodman was discovered on Monday after a forced break in to his flat in Beech Croft, Prestwich.
Mr Goodman, who was unemployed, was found on his bed by his sister. Police say it appears he had been dead for three weeks.
Later, a post mortem examination was held. But because of the severe decomposition of the body, no exact cause of death could be established.
Further tests being carried out at Bury General Hospital.
