ENERGETIC toddlers were raring to go and put their best foot forward to help raise money for their vandalised nursery.
The charity trekkers (pictured) from Castlecroft Day Nursery wrapped up warmly from the October cold and took part in a sponsored toddle in the nursery's playground.
The event was organised by the parents groups after the nursery's toy shed and its contents went up in flames two months ago.
Staff and parents at the Castlecroft Road nursery in Bury joined the little toddlers, aged between one to four-years-old, to raise about £400.
Mrs Jennifer Potter, deputy manager, said: "The children had a great time. We are delighted with the efforts of the parents and the youngsters as the money will help us replace some of the toys that were lost and help pay for a new shed."
