CALLOUS conmen stole jewellery and cash worth £220 from a 94-year-old Unsworth woman.
One of the men called at the pensioner's house in Cunningham Drive and asked to retrieve an item from her back garden.
She accompanied the man but on her return to the house the woman saw a second man leave. Later, the pensioner discovered some jewellery and cash was missing.
Police have now issued descriptions of both men, following the theft which happened at 11.15am on Tuesday.
The caller was 6ft tall, aged in his 20s with short, dark neat hair and wearing a dark jacket and trousers.
The second man who sneaked in was the same height, aged in his late 20s, skinny with short hair. He was carrying a monkey wrench.
