BURY firms showcased their wares at Business Voice '99.
The two-day show, at Bolton's Reebok Stadium, attracted more than 1,000 visitors.
Apart from the main exhibition, there were also a host of associated events including workshops and an e-commerce conference.
New this year was the Manufacturers' Showcase where the pride of North West manufacturers demonstrated that "Made in the North West" is a hallmark of quality.
Local companies who took out stands included Bury-based Infralogics Business Processor Consultancy, High Bank Health Centre and solicitors Clough & Willis.
But pride of place at the exhbition went to Advanced Polystyrene Ltd, based at Milltown Street, Radcliffe, who scooped the "Best Stand" award.
Theirs was judged the best out of 130 local companies taking part.
Apart from receiving an engraved silver trophy, the Radcliffe business will be able to take out a free stand at next year's event.
Business Voice '99 was organised and sponsored by Bolton and Bury Chamber, Bolton Council and Bolton Evening News-Bury Times Group.
The event is one of the fastest-growing business-to-business exhibitions in the North West.
