ORGANISATIONS throughout the borough, as well as members of the public, are invited to join the Mayor of St Helens, Councillor Pat Jackson, in the council's Ceremony of Remembrance on Sunday, November 14, at the war memorial in Victoria Square.
Those wishing to take part are asked to assemble in Birchley Street car park between 10.15 and 10.25am. The march will go via College Street, Baldwin Street and Cotham Street.
A parade marshal will liaise with police and representatives from organisations should report to him at 10.10am.
The mayor will lead other councillors into the square and, following a short service, wreaths will be laid on the memorial by the mayor and council leader, Marie Rimmer on behalf of the people of St Helens, followed by representatives of the various organisations.
