THIS afternoon's 'beamback' of the Manchester City game from Maine Road was expected to draw a fair-sized crowd to Ewood.
Rovers' allocation of tickets for the actual game were sold out by last weekend and, with season-ticket holders being admitted free to the 'live' screening at Ewood, a lot of interest was anticipated.
TICKETS for next Tuesday's game against Walsall at the Bescot Stadium (kick-off 7.45pm) are still on open sale, priced £15 adults, £11 senior citizens (over-60) and juniors (under-14).
Visiting fans are accommodated in the William Sharp Stand, behind one of the goals.
ROVERS have re-arranged two more reserve team games.
The FA Premier Reserve League (North) match away to Liverpool has been moved from Monday, November 29, to Wednesday, December 1. It will be played at St Helens Rugby League ground (kick-off 7pm).
Also switched is the home match against Everton, due to be played on Tuesday, Dexcember 7. That game will now be staged at Ewood 24 hours later on Wednesday, December 8 (7pm).
The changes follow the re-arrangement of certain first team games.

BOTH Academy teams were at home to Crewe this morning (kick-off 11am) and they also have a double date at Brockhall next Saturday, October 30, when Manchester United are the visitors. Again both under-17 and under-19 games start at 11am.
UNTIL last Saturday's double dismissal for 'professional fouls' by Craig Short and Martin Taylor, Rovers had an excellent disciplinary record.
In terms of bookings alone, it is still one of the best in the First Division. The team have collected only 11 yellow cards, a total bettered by only two clubs. Grimsby have 10 against their name and Crewe just six.
PER Frandsen notched his first Rovers goal against Crystal Palace on Wednesday but it is his midfield partner Lee Carsley who is setting the scoring standards.
Carsley tops the Ewood scoring charts so far this season with four goals from 11 League games.
TWO home games on successive Saturdays are coming up, against QPR on October 30 and Ipswich, November 6. Both games kick off at 3pm.
Tickets are on open sale, priced £15-20 adults, £10 senior citizens and £8 juniors where available.
NO Rovers players in the Nationwide League First Division team of the week, selected by Opta Index, but one man from the opposition managed to be chosen.
Few people would have left Ewood last Saturday talking about Grimsby defender Tony Gallimore - apart from the fact that he gave away a controversial penalty - but he totalled 1,207 points to gain a place in the representative side.
