SWINGING businessman Stephen White is aiming for an 'ole' in one - with the world looking on.
For Stephen has won through to the final stages of a top golf competition at La Manga, Spain, next month - complete with exclusive coverage on Sky television.
His four-man team snatched first prize in the Times/Mees Pierson Corporate Golf Challenge regional final and will jet out on a four-day all-expenses paid trip to the famous Spanish course on November 16 for the 36-hole grand final.
A partner at Blackburn-based insolvency practitioners White and Co, and a member of Accrington Golf Club for the last seven years, Stephen says: "I am thrilled at the prospect. It is a dream for me.
"We have entered this competition for the past three years but have never got anywhere. This time though, everyone seemed to click and before we knew what was happening, we had won the thing.
"Although I am captain, I have the highest handicap at 24, so when the television cameras are rolling and the pressure is on, I might be the most affected by it all.
"Whatever happens I intend to savour every moment."
