Hawks go into the Border League clash hoping for a win to boost morale after two straight defeats last weekend to Kirkaldy Kestrels and Flintshire Freeze, both by one goal margins.
But Haig would not blame lady luck for his team's shortcomings.
"We tend to play well for one period," says Haig. "You can't do that in this game. You have to play well for 60 minutes, not 20, as we seem to do. Hopefully, we can set that right this weekend.
"We have a young team, but what the players lack in experience they more than make up for in talent. Hopefully that will shine through tonight."
