ONE person was trapped in a five-vehicle crash on the notorious Grane Road between Haslingden and Blackburn today.
Three ambulances and the North West air ambulance helicopter were sent to the crash, near the mobile cafe lay-by between the Grey Mare pub and Helmshore, at 11.05am today.
Firefighters from Accrington and Blackburn freed the trapped motorist.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said a lorry, a light goods vehicle and three cars were involved in the collision.
Police closed the road from Guide to Helmshore.
