IN response to 'Disabled' (Letters, October 13), while I am very sympathetic towards any disabled drivers and agree there should be more parking for them, I find a certain irony in his complaint concerning taxi drivers parking on double yellow lines.
In Blackburn, it is the orange badge holders who park on the double yellow lines with no thought for the inconvenience caused to other road users.
I find it even more galling when they are parking on Penny Street alongside the car park with convenient spaces three yards away.
Perhaps a free pass to the car park would solve that problem.
