AFTER watching Rovers' games against Tranmere, Grimsby, Crystal Palace and Leeds, I can only say that the team is lacking leadership, both on and off the field.
When Rovers were playing good football in the Dalglish years, you could name the team week in and week out. Everybody knew where to play and what their jobs were.
I don't think Brian Kidd knows his best team or the best formation to play.
We need a strong captain, players who will take responsibility and a manager who can think, manage and organise a good squad.
PAUL EVANS, Bolton Road, Darwen.
