WHAT on earth are we doing at Ewood Park? - currently playing with very little heart and without a leader on the pitch.
And yet the answer to the question is blatantly obvious and also available at £1.5 million.
His name, of course, is Colin Hendry.
Forget the politics or personal reasons for Colin's departure under Roy Hodgson.
Here is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve. His guts, determination and honesty on the pitch and the fact Blackburn Rovers is Colin's beloved home, make him the ideal man to lead us again.
I believe he is currently in negotiations with Derby County and West Ham, so if those responsible for running the Rovers have any ambitions in getting us out of the awful First Division, they should step in.
Let's have Colin back to give us some backbone - first as player-captain and, then, manager.
Bet he would even take a drop in wages to return.
