SAFFIZZ has gone to race in Macau in the Far East after being bought by the International Bloodstock Agency.

I think he will do very well there, he is a lovely horse and I had a tear or two when I said goodbye to him at Doncaster Bloodstock Sales last week.

I've already replaced him with a lovely Parish House yearling whose dams half brothers and sisters have won over 30 races between them.

He is a lovely looker and resembles Trigger, but my granddaughter has nicknamed him Highlights.

We hope he is as good as Saffizz who took us to York, Royal Ascot and gave us a lot of fun and some excellent days out, especially when he was sixth of 18 at Royal Ascot and Her Majesty The Queen walked past our group within inches with the Queen Mother in her golf trolley following. You cannot replace those days and Saffizz did us proud. It's all coming to an end this flat season, so its time to turn to the National Hunt season. Derek Byrne, the jump jockey friend of mine is schooling for Les Eyre and Kevin Ryan, so I will pass on his advice during the season. My 10 National Hunt horses to follow over the next couple of months are: 1 Kate's Charm (trainer R Alner); 2 Donnach Mor (Venetia Williams); 3 Free (Mary Reveley); 4 Bloomfield Storm (Kim Bailey); 5 Mr Lamb (M Pipe); 6 Damus (Venetia Williams); 7 Crocadee (Venetia Williams); 8 Dancing Phantom (M W Easterby); 9 Fadalko (P F Nicholls); 10 Night of Glass (Les Eyre).

My dark horse to follow the unraced Don't Tell Harry (R Alner).
