REVISED plans for a major housing estate on fields off Halifax Road, Nelson, have been submitted to Pendle Council.
Fairclough Homes wants to cut the number of homes on the site between Halifax Road and Kings Causeway, Brierfield, from 167 to 159.
The new scheme includes land previously earmarked as a site for a replacement to nearby Marsden Primary School. Earlier this summer Lancashire Education Authority agreed the site was surplus to requirements and could be sold for housing.
The revised scheme shows 137 detached homes, 16 mews houses and six flats. The application is due to go before the council's Brierfield and Reedley area committee on November 29.
Other recent applications include:
Construct dormer to front at 16 Whitworth Way, Barnoldswick; extend kitchen to rear, 25 Cobden Street, Barnoldswick; construct dormer in north light roof, Rolls Royce, Bankfield site, Skipton Road, Barnoldswick; erect 10 detached homes (outline), Springfield Mill, Gisburn Road, Blacko.
