THIEVES with stars in their eyes stole £10,000 of karaoke equipment leaving the owner to sound off in fury.
Nigel Ely has had 5,000 CDs taken from the back of his car as well as speakers, portable televisions, microphones, mixing desks and amplifiers.
The car was parked in front of his home in Stonehill Drive, Sunnybower, Blackburn, when the equipment was taken in the early hours of Monday.
Now, Nigel's business, Shooting Start Laser Karaoke, has been left high and dry until the equipment can be replaced. He is promising a "substantial" reward to anybody who has information about where the equipment is.
He said: "This is the second time this has happened to me in four years.
"I think it must have been planned because it was done in the dead of night and the people obviously knew where the equipment was.
"I am left in limbo until I can get something sorted out, to say I am angry would be something of an understatement.
"I find it difficult to put into words what I think of the people who have done this.
"If I could get hold of them I'd like to blast their hearts out, because that is what they've done to my business.
"I would urge anybody who has any information to contact me. I am offering a substantial reward."
