BLACKBURN police say an operation to track down youths who were targeting bus drivers on a housing estate has been a success.
Officers have identified five youths who are believed to be responsible for the trouble on the Fishmoor estate in Blackburn.
Blackburn Transport bus drivers have been forced to change their routes round the estate to avoid trouble spots including Cleveleys Road and Lytham Road.
The buses have been pelted with stones and bus drivers assaulted.
PC Jon Miller, community beat officer for the area, said the police were in the process of arresting, interviewing and charging the youths.
They are all juveniles and cannot be named.
