BURNLEY Under 15s have been given a tough away draw against Halton in the third round of the Heinz Ketchup Trophy.
The youngsters beat Wigan 3-1 in a tough first round tie at Gawthorpe School thanks to goals from Ashley Whelan (2) and Robbie Smith.
And they moved into the third round with another top class performance beating Oldham 5-1 with goals coming from Robert Grimes, Paul Scott, Danny Pollard, Whelan and Smith.
Blackburn Under 15s have been given an attractive third round tie at home to Bishop Auckland provided they can beat Blackpool in their second round replay which has been fixed for Saturday, November 6.
Blackburn had no game scheduled at the weekend but they return to action with a Lancashire League match against Pendle on Saturday, October 30.
