RED Lion kept up their surging challenge for the title of the Premier Division with a comfortable victory over Prairie.
They are now three points clear of the second club with a game in hand.
Barrowford Nomads ran into a goal avalanche when they met Shorthomers. They were beaten 9-0 in a match they will want to forget. For Shorthomers Ricky Sutcliffe (3) and R Atkinson (2), E Caddis (2) and D Forest scored.
North Valley got their fourth win out of five outings when they beat bottom club Snowball 2-0 with Paul McDowall and Clive Dinsdale getting the goals.
Hour Glass Rangers and Sun Inn could not get the better of each other and the game finished in an honourable 2-2 draw.
In the First Division, leaders at the start of the day Warburtons met Barnoldswick side Strategy and struggled to get a point in a 2-2 draw.
Asda Colne beat Morris Dancers by the odd goal in three and with the win now occupy top spot two points clear of Warburtons.
At last Wagon and Horses got their first point of the season in a high scoring draw of four goals each, and with the point they move off bottom spot in the table. In a game that was very even, Endsleigh and Bull Hotel in Division Two came off the park with honours even in a 2-2 draw. Manor Barn keep climbing up the table with a 7-0 thrashing of bottom club Athletico Lane Ends. R Simpson (3), D McDough (2), G Jackson and C Connolly getting the goals.
Lane Ends got a point when they shared the spoils in an eight-goal thriller against Stork Hotel. Forest were knocked off their top spot by second placed Prairie Rangers who trounced them 5-2 to take their place.
In the Third Division top team Hare and Hounds had to struggle all the game to overcome bottom club Oaks Hotel, by the odd goal in five and they were very lucky to do so. Punch Bowl saw off Bull Hotel B when they met to the tune of 5-1 to retain second place.
Pendle Forest played third placed Earby side White Lion off the Park in a complete 8-1 rout in the biggest surprise of the day and now they occupy the third spot. It was their biggest win of the season.
Trafalgar came out on top of a 10 goal thriller against Victoria Eagles. They beat them 6-4. I Crowther helped himself to a hat trick. Results - Premier Division: Nomads 0, Shorthomers 9; Red Lion 3, Prairie 0; H G Rangers 2, Sun Inn 2; North Valley 2, Snowball 0.
