THE French are doing nothing for entente cordiale.
They have refused to accept our beef back into their country despite the lifting of the ban across Europe.
Now we're getting our own back by boycotting French imports.
Why is it that when the European Parliament tells the British to jump we jump, but no-one else does?
Our cross channel neighbours have apparently been feeding their animals with foodstuffs mixed with animal and human sewage. We learn this week it's absolutely safe, but how many of us would like to risk it, knowing that.
What confidence can we have in any food these days, we haven't a clue what goes in it, despite labelling?
A French food ban will hit our business people hard.
However, I don't care what eatables they prohibit, I can do without Brie, but halting the flow of wine...now that would be a tragedy.
