THE English National Water Polo League - which Lancaster stormed last year - is heading towards an exciting climax at Salt Ayre over the weekend of November 27 and 28.

Recently in North London Lancaster overwhelmed the opposition beating Sutton 15-6, Paragon (Stoke) 21-12 and Manchester 15-5, to reduce their goal difference to league leaders Bristol down to six goals.

A repeat of the weekend's fixtures at Sheffield over the weekend of November 13 and 14 give Lancaster the opportunity to build up a goal difference lead for the final weekend when Bristol will face an easier weekend.

With both teams tied on points at the top of the table it is looking more and more likely that the title will be decided on goal difference.
