AS the darker evenings approach road safety officers at St Helens Council are issuing their annual 'Be Safe, Be Seen' message.
British summer time ends on Sunday, October 31 when clocks go back an hour and it will be dark earlier in the evening.
The council's senior road safety officer, Lisa Scott, said: "Drivers can see a pedestrian or somebody travelling on two wheels much better if they are wearing something fluorescent by day and reflective at night."
