ASDA stores in Bury and Radcliffe are backing Britain in the continuing row over a French boycott of UK beef.

The supermart chain has decided to switch from a French to a British supplier of dough - for its French bread.

Once their supply of French brie runs out, they will replace it with British.

The company says they only stock 100 per cent British beef and are disappointed that the French ban on such products is still continuing.

Meanwhile, other local supermarkets say it's 'business as usual' without any bans on French goods.
