ST HELENS North MP, Dave Watts has been appointed Parliamentary Private Secretary to Defence Minister, John Reed.
Dave who was elected in 1997, is delighted with his appointment and is looking forward to working with the minister and learning more about how a government department works on a day-to-day basis. He will now give up his role as a member of the leadership campaign team, responsible for promoting government policies and campaigning.
