OUTWOOD Country Park will take delivery of a £10,000 sculpture this morning, October 28.
The 6ft high metallic work of art has been created by Stefan Gec and will form yet another link in the Irwell Sculpture Trail.
Entitled Trinity, it is designed to represent the period that the railway line through Outwood was constructed, the deaths of a number of navvies involved in the digging and the pre-rail history of the site.
It is yet another work of art set to transform the area.
Last year saw the installation of world famous sculptor, Ulrich Ruckriem's "Standing Stones".
