THE Citizens Advice Bureau in Prescot is returning to its old office, which has been partially revamped, after eight months in temporary accommodation.
The bureau had to move from its Church Street location in February while work on the town-centre redevelopment took place.
Deputy manager, Usha Sangyam, said: "The changes will make conditions much more pleasant for clients and advisers. We are easy to get to as we are next to the new bus station and there is a taxi rank nearby."
The bureau will re-open for business at 10am on Thursday, November 4, giving free, confidential advice on all topics. Usual opening hours are 10am to 12.30pm on Mondays and 10am to 3pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wednesdays are reserved for special appointments.
Meanwhile, the bureau is looking for people who would like to become volunteer advisers in the CAB. Anyone interested can call at Church Street office for an information pack and arrange to have an informal chat about the work involved.
