What a top week! HELLO again and first this week, thanks to everybody who came up and said Hi to me last Friday at Sherdley Park for the Big Radio City fireworks display.
I had a terrific night and felt very welcome indeed. It's been an interesting week in music too with Geri beating Emma in the much hyped Spice battle, so maybe writing your own songs does pay off after all. Anyway, let's check out some new tunes in the Starbeat Record Review.
She's The One - Robbie Williams A classic love song and like Angels, you just know this will stand the test of time. How good is this bloke? Whether he rocks or chills out big time, he is without doubt, one of our biggest talents.
Life's Too Short - Lightning Seeds For me they can do no wrong. Ian Broudie has written some of the strongest tunes of the past 10 years and this latest offering has no problem living up to that standard. A great pop song.
Will 2K - Will Smith From his album 'Willenium' this is another guaranteed hit from the guy who just makes music for fun. Remember, his proper job pays him $12 million a movie. Perhaps the best thing about this single though, is the excellent sample of the classic 'Clash' song 'Rock The Casbah'.
