A THEATRE company from Preston is one of seven causes to receive cash from the Granada TV Live Challenge's pot of gold.
The Certain Curtain Theatre has been given £30,000 to help them tour the area with their hard-edged play The Knot.
The Knot brings attention to the social and economic issues within a family. After the performance, the group tells the audience where they can get help and advice. Representatives from the theatre company visited Granada TV in Manchester yesterday (Wednesday) to pick up their cheque.
The cash is part of the region total of £700,000, raised by the Live Challenge campaign in more than 900 fund-raising events held since February 1998.
