I COULDN'T help but raise a cheer when the resident in Woodville Street wrote to you regarding parking in their street. Only this week I have tried the town hall to see if we could have anything done about the same problem. The council could make a lot of money if these people who don't pay to park on our doorstep were made to pay. If we move our car for shopping, we, like your reader, come back to find our place taken. We even have them parking and then going off for a few days on the train. Sibsey Street, Lincoln Road, Wingate Saul Road are really fed up with it and the people who park couldn't care less about local residents.
Come on council, get some parking charges fixed for the streets like ours.
