I AM a grandmother. I am angry and I am upset, because a grandson of mine is upset and hurt.
He is upset because a cruel thief stole his bike from outside a shop, while he was on an errand. The bike was expensive and my son-in-law and daughter had to work hard to save and buy it. It makes me very angry to think that a thief can just help himself and walkaway with it, leaving a youngster gutted.
So, parents beware. Warn your children to lock up their bikes wherever they leave them. Thieves are not bothered who they rob. I just hope the thief who stole my grandson's bike did not enjoy his trip on it.
