IT concerns me to read about the child (Bullying Views: November 4) regarding the lack of support he received form the schools. One would question the kind of upbringing the perpetrators of such activities, have at home. Are they taught moral values by their parents? Obviously not.
I understand that all schools within the county's education authority implement anti-bullying policies... I must be mistaken. It is time that head teachers and governing bodies are made accountable for persistent incidents of bullying. The child featured in the letter ins in danger of being failed by the education system. How many more children are in the same position because of persistent bullying?
