ASTLEY mum Brenda Rowley, fighting for justice for her son, Malcolm, has been given an inquest date.
The coroner has called a jury to hear evidence into the death of the 32-years-old physically and mentally handicapped man, who was found drowned in the bath at his Eccles care home last year.
It will convene on December 13 in Salford and is expected to last for two days.
Brenda, of Whimbrel Road, has dedicated the last 18 months battling to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding her son's death.
But on Tuesday the Crown Prosecution Service told her they would not reverse their decisionnot to prosecuted anyone for his death.
"They told me there can be no corporate manslaughter charge against the Social Services or charges against those caring for him.
"Because there were so many people responsible for his care they can't prosecute anybody.
"So where's the justice in that for Malcolm," asked a distraught Brenda.
