JOHN Prescott has again been invited to the Ribble Valley by MP Nigel Evans.
Mr Evans repeated his invitation to the Deputy Prime Minister to visit Whittingham, Goosnargh and Grimsargh, during a debate on planning on greenfield and brownfield sites.
He also asked the Minister for Planning if he understood the concerns of the area's residents, about the destruction of greenfield sites - without even a visit from an environment minister.
Mr Evans said: "The minister cannot have it both ways. If he is committed to saving the greenfields around Preston, he should intervene.
"The Deputy Prime Minister must visit the area as soon as possible so he can see for himself what is at stake."
