NON-PROFESSIONAL pool players up and down the country are preparing for their big break at the 1999 Bapto Grand Finals - sponsored by Hamlet.
Recognised as the 'FA Cup of Pool', players have endured months of rigorous qualifying rounds to gain a place at the three-day Hamlet championship from November 12-14 at the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool.
This national tournament, open to pool players over the age of 18, invites both ladies, men and teams to compete for cash prizes totalling over £12,500 and four prestigious awards: men and ladies individual champion, the unique three person team award and the prestigious national team trophy.
