PRESTON full back Dominic Ludden could step back into the fray as Preston entertain Notts County tonight, but Steve Basham's playing comeback has been put on hold.
Ludden has been out of action for over two months with a stomach strain, but after intensive treatment the former Watford defender is ready to rejoin his team mates for this Division Two clash.
Basham meanwhile, was due for a return after knee surgery against the Magpies. However, hopes of a Deepdale comeback were dashed this week as the striker injured an ankle in training, ruling him out for at least another month.
Farid Diaf is also set to miss out, the French star will miss another six weeks of action after fracturing a bone near his eye socket during last Saturday's 2-2 draw with Colchester.
North End boss David Moyes has decisions to make up front, with Kurt Nogan, Jon Macken and Alex Mathie all in top form at the moment.
Squad: Moilanen, Alexander, Murdock, Jackson, Edwards, Cartwright, Rankine, Gregan, McKenna, Macken, Nogan, Lucas, Kidd, Mathie, Gunlaugsson, Ludden, Darby, Eyres.
